This flexible, black nylon wrapped LCD Video Monitor hood is designed specifically for 3" LCD Screens or Monitors and will give you the confidence for shooting outdoors and allow you to see in detail what is on your external video monitor. The rigid frame and the black nylon of the ProAm Monitor Hood prevents external light from entering the monitor screen, which allows you to see the LCD screen clearly without glare.

The ProAm 3" LCD Hood / Sunshade is versatile. It is a single piece design using long, 10" Velcro straps that can be cut to fit any application. Attached to the bottom are wide Velcro hooks that securely adhere to the straps. This allows it to be quickly and easily affixed and removed.
The dimensions of the ProAm 3" LCD Hood / Sunshade are very compact. It has a depth of 2.625". The inside dimensions are 2.5" wide by 1.875" high. Exterior is 2.875" wide by 2.25" high.

Definitely a good buy for the money, May 11, 2012 By  Doug - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: ProAm� 3" DSLR Screen / LCD Video Monitor Hood / Sunshade (Camera) To be honest I didn't have high hopes for this product, and after removing it from the packaging I had even less hope, in your hands it seems like it would be absolutely worthless and fall off for no reason, but after "installing" it on my camera, it actually fits really well and allows access to view the entire screen when lit. I have the Lumix GH1 with fold out and tilting lcd panel and it fits very well and solidly around the thin lcd panel and even allows the panel to be flipped backwards and folded back into the camera in a normal "dslr" viewing mode with the hood attached without a problem. It doesnt look like much off the camera, but for the money it certainly does the trick!
